From Vancouver,Washington
travel east on Highway 14
49 miles passing the first Carson exit to mile post 49 3/10th.
Turn left onto Hot Springs Avenue
Sandhill Cottages are 9/10th. mile.

From Portland, Oregon Take I-84 east to Cascade Locks,
cross The Bridge of The Gods (toll)
into Washington.
Turn right at bridge end
and travel east on Highway 14 to the 49 3/10 mile marker,
turn left onto Hot Springs Avenue
and Sandhill Cottages is 9/10th. mile.
From both directions
the Washington side is by far the most scenic.
It is however a two lane highway.
The Oregon side is a 4 lane so if you are in a hurry
and want to see lots of semi trucks
that would be the choice.

If you want to avoid the Interstate's there are other routes.
The road from Randal, Washington brings you right into Carson
and Hiway 35 brings you up over Mt. Hood and right into Hood River,
just follow the directions from there.
